We have just 11 days left in the crowdfunding campaign, and are over 32% towards our goal. Thanks again for your support for this program that has seen so much success over the last ten years. Please watch the video linked below as my former student, Diego, talks about his experience in mediation. You can help us reach our goal by sharing this opportunity with your network.
In 2007 UNC Charlotte students began participating in the Regional Intercollegiate Mock Mediation Tournaments, quickly bringing recognition to the University by receiving an award. The team has racked up several awards each year including, team award at the John Marshall School of Law for the national tournament (2008), national team awards at Drake University Law School (2009 & 2010), and Peacemaker Award for top mediator/advocate/client combined scores (2014).
However, in 2016 the team didn't receive any awards as there were no funds available for students to compete. Please help us continue to spread the word so that every UNC Charlotte student has the opportunity to put their learned skills to the test.
