We want to offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported our Habitat El Salvador fundraising project.  Your support and contributions played a crucial role in this process and we literally could not have done it without you. 

Thanks to 46 separate donations we were able raise $8,075!  That is 115% of our $7,000 goal! 

This trip has been such a positive and life-altering experience for previous students and we're excited to be heading out in just a few weeks. With these funds we have been able to purchase plane tickets for each of the six students.  This removes a substantial financial burden for these students who will be working and learning during this 10-day program. 

Additionally, because of your generous contributions, we will be able to help students cover the airfare cost on the next trip (May 2019).  We will then work with those students participating in 2019 to fundraise to cover the cost of flights for the next group in 2021--it will be a “pay it forward” system that was made possible by all of you!

Many thanks to everyone who has donated to the Habitat El Salvador project. Thanks to matching funds from a generous donor, we were able to bring in $2,500 last week!

We're pleased to report we're currently 87% funded with $6,108 toward our $7,000 goal. Community involvement and generosity has supplemented expenses in order to make it easier for students to travel to El Salvador and participate in the Habitat for Humanity build. This experience has been such a positive and life-altering experience for previous students and we're happy more students can share the experience. 

We'll keep plugging away to achieve our goal in the next 48 hours - thank you for your help in getting us this far!

A generous donor and alumna of UNC Charlotte has just offered a matching gift to help us reach our goal. This means that all gifts to our campaign until April 11 will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $2,250! We are 60% to goal with nine days remaining in our campaign, this challenge gift can help us meet and even exceed our goal.
