UNC Charlotte's Got Your Back

Part of the mission of UNC Charlotte’s Graduate Life Fellows is to build connections across disciplines within UNC Charlotte and the surrounding community. We realize that whether we are isolated in our specific programs, or already working as alumni in the community, it can be easy to forget all that it took for us to get to where we are today. We take for granted the pens, the paper, the backpacks and the role models that made it possible to move on to higher education here at UNC Charlotte and beyond.

UNC Charlotte's Got Your Back aims to unite UNC Charlotte students as well as alumni in raising money for school supplies for underprivileged children right here in our community. Through this cause, we aim to provide these students with not only the tools needed to be successful in the classroom, but the exposure to real students in higher education, their stories and reasons to never give up on their dreams.

Some examples of what your donation will go towards will be the supplies to put together the kits listed below. In the coming months, a volunteer event will take place on campus to put together these kits and to share your story to inspire students and connect them to the world of even higher education.
