This event is hosted by MEGR3241 class. They will be testing and tuning the UNC Charlotte Cup car as well as their own vehicles.
Join us for UNC Charlotte Motorsports Track Day “Racing for Resumes” at Mooresville Dragway on Saturday, November 23, 2019.
Donate, Race and come network with the students! All students, employees, corporate sponsors and racing industry enthusiasts are encouraged to participate. The track is yours for the day to enjoy. Everybody wins!
The fall 2019 MEGR3241 class will be testing the UNC Charlotte cup car and their own personal vehicles with their class built GPS data loggers.
The track rental for the day costs $2,500 & the students in MEGR3241 are looking for your support to help off-set this rental cost. With help from the Mechanical Engineering department, which allocates $500 towards this event, the remainder of the event is student and sponsor funded.
Any additional monies raised will be 100% used for undergraduate track related activities such as future drag strip events or events at gopro motorplex, and other needs. Funds collected are considered donations and are tax-deductible.
UNC Charlotte students outside of motorsports are encouraged to attend. Spectators are free. If we do not meet our $2500 goal, there are no refunds. Monies will be used for a gopro session for the MEGR3241 students.

Sponsors can invite up to 10 employees to race their vehicles with the students. Sponsors will receive a copy of all the resumes from participating students. Get a better shot at the best motorsports talent UNCC has to offer! Let your dollars go twice as far and receive resumes in 2 weeks.
